FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT DOES MY $250 DEPOSIT GET ME?

The $250 deposit saves your place in line to select the apartment of your choice when we begin Leasing in early 2019. We are operating on a first-come-first-serve basis, so those who place deposits first will be the first to choose their new home.
If for any reason you decide to revoke your reservation, the $250 deposit is fully refundable.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

Yes, assigned parking spaces will be offered to all tenants.

WILL THERE BE A CONCIERGE?

Yes! We will have a concierge in the lobby, as well as a visual intercom system in every apartment.

WHAT WILL I DO FOR INTERNET?

Internet will be available directly to your apartment with Verizon Fios at a discounted rate. Custom TV and phone packages will also be available.

HOW ARE THE UTILITIES ARRANGED?

Upon moving in, you will be responsible for setting up an account with Orange and Rockland Utilities, our electricity provider. We are currently seeking LEED certification with an energy score of 85+, which means you will save on your electric bill every month.

WHAT ARE THE ADDITIONAL FEES?

Additional costs outside of rent include applicable move-in fees, pet fees, and utility fees.

WHEN WILL THE APARTMENT BE READY TO MOVE IN?

The Sheldon at Suffern Station will be ready for occupancy in the beginning of 2019.

WHAT IS A TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT?

The Sheldon at Suffern Station is located fifty yards from the NJ Transit stop with approximately one-hour rail time into Midtown New York. The Transport of Rockland – the county’s local bus system of 10 routes – has a stop one block away from the building.

What is our pet policy?

Our pet-friendly apartments welcome most breeds of dogs. However, because certain dogs do not thrive in a community environment, we cannot accommodate the following breeds or mixes: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier, Bull Terrier, Chow, Doberman, German Shepherd, Husky, Pit Bull, Presa Canario, Rottweiler and Wolf Hybrid. Maximum of two pets per home.
